There is a special chemical in apples that is a byproduct of the genetic modification of most fruits and vegetables (yes, most of the fruits and veggies you eat are genetically modified so they can be tastier, bigger, and healthier.) This chemical is in very few agricultural products, though. This chemical interacts with another chemical in the brain that interprets flavors and tastes and reacts with it in a way that makes you want to eat that food constantly. The solution to this problem is simple-dont eat any apples for a while. If you eat another apple, it satisfies that craving, but adds more chemicals, so you will want another one. If you dont eat any for a while, that chemical will go away and be released from your body because of the lack of nutrients that enables those chemicals to survive. i have learned all of this information in my agriculture class, so everything ive said is true

Apples have a lot of sugar in them. And they're healthy, despite that. Perhaps, if you do not eat a lot of sugar, your body wants it. But wants it to be healthy, too! Anyways, you're not insane, my best friend craves apples, too!
