YES, YES, YES, from your lips to God's ear! What a useless organization and we are paying for it! they have never, ever done any good. Look what happened in Serria Leone! Years of resolutions while people were getting killed there, then send in a UN force that was worthless and could not establish any control, to where once AGAIN, the UN called for US Military aide, and we send in one Freakin platoon of US Marines and order was established, in what?, two days????? Get out NOW!

I don't think the United States should pull out. We are about to face a number of crisises that will require all that we can muster. How can we solve Global Warming, Overpopulation, international debts, starvation, diseases, numerous other global problems and still regain our lost respect among the other nations of the world? We need the aid of all nations in order to heal the destruction we have caused upon our planet. If we leave the United Nations, we'll never be able to solve the world problems. Especially not in time to stop Global Warming.

the problem with pulling out of the UN to type a clean international agency to freshen up the corruption is that lots of the corruption is lead by american interests. there became as a lot American complicity interior the Oil for foodstuff software as in the different significant united states of america. if you're speaking about pulling out so shall we make our own guidelines, that undermines the entire reason behind a international agency jointly with the UN. The UN became common to grant all member countries an equivalent voice (regardless of if thats no longer truly occurring at present). the numerous problem with the UN at present must be the great veto that the 5 everlasting individuals of the safe practices council have. remove that veto problem from all the international places and think ofyou've got a extra equivalent international society. yet u.s. has to abide by its agreements by UN treaties, which it has chosen no longer to plenty lately. in case you pick to make sure what takes position at the same time as the international's significant great powers are not to any extent further area of a international agency like the UN, look up the League of countries that became common after WWI

Yes, and no. I think we should pull all funding, and get them off of our land. However, I think we should still attend because we need to know what our enemies are doing.

The best thing we could do is to expand NATO, or create a new organization that only allows democratic nations to join. The biggest problem with the UN is that the vast majority of member nations are not democratic (communists, dictators, kings, theocracies, etc.).

The U.N. needs to be moved to Paris. Get them out of here. There is prime real estate on that location. As for the "Brutal Israel" post, read history. it's time to stop giving place to murderous arabs and persians, racist all, who are hell-bent on destroying an entire PEOPLE. By the way, all of the Jew haters out there, do you realize Israel is the only country in the middle east with a free press? That regularly bashes the gov't. Try doing that in pre-america iraq. Or maybe Iran...or maybe the former soviet union...or maybe china...or maybe north korea...or maybe sudan...or maybe somalia...and the list goes on...

NO! Once we become isolationist we are in trouble. In the past every time we were isolationist we had a war. (I don't mean some little war like we have now)
