Al Gore was elected by the people!!!

George W. Bush only got in due to the "electoral votes", so they say.

I don't think America would have been attacked like she was if Al Gore would have been in office. We would not be so far in the "red" that it will take hundreds of years to pay for it.

All other Presidents together don't even come close the spending from our current President, who seems to not have any concept of money. After all he just does not understand the poor folk, why would he; he's been feeding from the platinum spoon since his grandfather's days.

The economy would be suffering in a huge way if gore had won. It isn't rocket science to figure out that incentivizing people to work hard by not taking away the majority of the potential rewards will get people motivated to increase productivity. That fact was lost on gore.

OK, that was somewhat speculative b/c it is the courage and strength of the American people that truly drive the economy, not the President. But one thing that is for sure is that we definitely would have had another major terrorist attack on our soil with that pompous windbag in charge. Say what you want about Bush, but people have learned quickly not to mess with him (or us, thank you very much) or they'll get kicked in the teeth; just ask the Taliban.

Bush has fanned the very flames he swore to smother. In his moronic mindset he has actually strenghthened an enemy that would have probably dissolved if left to it's own. People are stupid, but they are not THAT stupid. They know that Al-Qaeda is a bunch of thugs. They don't impress or inspire anyone with a brain, but neither do we. Hell, Bush got us to believe in a war when he knew it was total bullshit. Just so he could go get that bad man Saddam Hussein, because he didn't like his daddy. America does not know how to fight a modern war. They send out a fleet of Stealth bombers if someone's bitten by a mosquito. America does not know how to be small, clever, patient and quiet.

I say Bush in 6 rounds. Gore is now in the heavyweight division and Bush is more of a welterweight. But I think Gore would be winded in about 35-40 seconds of the fight.

First: To RoseWithin... Do you seriously think that it was Bush's fault that 9/11 happened? Do you seriously think that a man who had been in office for 9 months caused 9/11?!?! They attacked us because of our overly capitalistic beliefs (which is why they attacked the World Trade Center--not because its big, but because it is a symbol of capitalism), NOT because of Bush.

And I think that if Gore won that the US would be essentially the same, but there would be no war in Iraq. I think that there would still be a "War on Terror", although not to the scale that Bush has made it.

It's a good thing that the people of Tennessee, Gore's home state, knew what a phony he was and voted for Bush.

You may recall that Tipper Gore was leading the fight to censor rock lyrics and video games. Good liberal that she is.

The air in New York would be like Mountain air, and New Yorkers could bottle it and send it to places like Mexico City.

More of a disaster than it is now! Gore is a hypocrite. Bush sticks by his beliefs, even though he's wrong.

oooooooh! I hate to think about it!! Gore is such a ----- that it's scary to think about what he could have done! I hope enough people go on bended knee to keep that from happening. He couldn't even carry his own state, for Pete's sake!
