I have just seen this programme and it makes me shudder, i work in an NHS dental surgery and we go through a daily barrage of abuse from a number of our patients.
We have had our windows smashed a number of times-despite the surgery being directly opposite a police station.
One of our dentist's was beaten up by a patient who is a paranoid schizophrenic, the police were called, it went to court and nothing happened, she admitted on the day she beat 7 shades out crap out of the dentist she had failed to take her medication!
We've been threatened with violence, people have told us that their going to be waiting for us after work, it's got so bad we've had an intercom system fitted on the front door and a panic button installed.
People in A/E are simply doing their job and the bloody law needs to be changed and the morons who do kick off and attack members of staff need to be punished and not just given a slap on the wrist.

nah they should just learn wing chun classes, it'd b more effective, help a patient and kick *** in style
