Well geez! Don't tell me that. I just bought Donnie Darko off of Target.com and haven't even seen it yet. It should be here in a couple days lol.
As for the most confusing movie for me, it would probably have to be an american haunting. I never really understood the whole thing. I mean, I understood most of it, but there was still parts that I didn't fully get. Same for the Black Dahlia. There were parts i didn't fully understand after watching it.
And there was this other one i recently saw but i don't remember the name of it. I know it was a chinease movie and there was this girl and her friend was a prostitute and then her father was like, killing all these guys and then the dad took her out into these woods and left her there...I didn't understand a thing going on.

Lost Highway - by David Lynch
One of the most confusing movies I've ever seen and one of the best. - Donnie Darko was also a great movie but didn't really confuse me though.

yeah, i was hovering between Donnie Darko, Eyes Wide Shut, and The Blair Witch Project. allkind of a "huh?" ending for me. what was up with Donnie Darko anyway??

I just saw The Number 23 in theaters on Friday, and it was hard for me to follow. And also, as excellent as it was, Moulin Rouge was confusing at parts.
