Based on answers he has given the local media here in Columbus, he will stay a second season.

He was quoted to say that he will move onto the NBA when he feels like he has dominated the college game and when he is at a level to dominate on the pro level.

Then again, money talks.....

I tend not to believe players when they say they will stay because it hardly ever happens. Exceptions are the Florida Gators. The previous team that won, the Tar Heels, most said would stay then they didn't. Lamarcus Aldridge did the same thing last yr too. My bet is he won't. Why would you pass up being the certain #1 pick in the draft. Too much of a chance of getting hurt.

Oden is jus plain sick and i think he is ready to take the leap to the pros ... he would already be there if the nba had not put that rule with the one year university

anyone who says that him or kevin durrant will stay for a 2nd season is nuts.. why would you? why stay in school if your these guys, one year out of college and he'll prolly sign a 5 mil a year contract or something rediculous like that. what would stayin one more year do? i could see stayin the whole 4 so you have a degree to fall back on but no two years wont get you anything. carmelo anthony said he was stayin one more year we all know how that went

it depends but if he stays OSU will have two good 7 footers
they have Kosta Koufos ( #10 in nation) coming in from Canton GlenOak
27 and 20 plus like 7 blocks a game and playin a real tough schedule
Oden + Koufos + regular team now = TITLE TEAM!!!!!

btw - has anyone ever heard of Kosta Koufos - just wonderin?

despite some avoidance of the question earlier this season, he's given the indication that he intends to stay another year. I think the fact that he spent part of the season injured, combined with the likelihooh of the buckeyes not winning the championship this year will entice him to stay one more year to have a better shot at the NCAA championship.

I personally don't think it would be a very smart move to stay, when he would be skipping the chance to make millions of dollars, by going professional. He has nothing to gain by staying at Ohio State for another year.
