If I'm not mistaken there are wireless Ethernet adapters out there but there is no way to connect your wireless USB adapter to your Ethernet port because it it was designed for USB protocol, and even if there were some kind of adapter to make it possible it would probably just slow things down and defeat the purpose of having a high speed connection.

if you're hoping that by being able to plug a wireless adapter into an ethernet port would give wireless capabilities to the ethernet port you'll be disappointed - it's not possible to do that.
you will need a wireless device along the lines of a router, or another wireless adapter connected to a computer in the network.

There really isn't a viable way, as ethernet is strictly a network connection, whereas a USB adapter has to be connected through a USB port so that it can be installed as a device, which requires an interrupt, DMA channel, and bus information that an ethernet port can't provide. You might get a USB hub to allow yourself more ports if you need them, or if your computer doesn't have them at all, you can buy a card (PCI for desktop or PCMCIA for laptop) that has USB ports.
