When my son was born two years ago, his announcements were one of a kind (seed packets with his picture). Now we are expecting again and need something original that will wow the recipients.

I think a magnet would be cute! That way all your family and friends can put it on their fridge and see your new bundle of joy! Congrats!!!! :o)

I made my own. Since my son's theme was camouflage in his room, I did a camouflage themed announcement. I got regular card paper made in army green, I got camouflage scrap book paper and did a cut out to place his picture on, put his picture on the front with calligraphy on it that says "announcing our new arrival" and on the inside I wrote his stats and stuff with a calligraphy pen. I took transparant scrap book paper and put it over the top and put two holes in the side with a hole punch about one inch apart and I tied it with twine to hold the transparant stuff on. they were a hit, and such wonderful and creative keepsakes too.

My brother and his wife did a Hersey's Bar with the birth announcement on it.....it was really cute....Congrats!!!
