Will Iranians step up against their own government and bring an end to this nuclear program?

today I read about 2 ayotollahs speaking out against Ahmadinijad. that's the last time i heard about it, but it was only like 10 minutes ago.

no. the the supreme leader and the council that controls the govenment(can't think of the name) approves of nuclear power,as long as it is peaceful. even attacking iran will not stop the nuclear program,just delay it.

The Ayotollahs are promoting Ahmadinajad are you kidding? WHen is the last time you heard a Mullah or Ayotollah publically speak out against terrorist activities?

Let's hope that this is a trend that it grows stronger until they completely oust Ahmadinajad and his nuclear program.

They haven't so far, so I doubt it, but miracles can happen.

As for nuclear program, likely no. America will have to step in.

The Ayatollahs have already told him to tone down his rhetoric once, but I think it was more to keep under the radar, not to end the program.

If Bush stops threatening them, the hard liners will lose power (sound familiar?) and the people will elect more moderate leaders.
