No QBs in this draft will help turn the Raiders season around. Do you think the Raiders can find a better QB than Garcia considering they don't use their draft pick on a QB?

the Raiders dont run the type of offense that Garcia needs to thrive (see his days in Detroit and Cleveland)

Garcia needs a team that runs a west coast offense that centers on the short passing game. His best bet is probably Tampa.

If the Raiders sign Jeff Garcia, it will be because they are looking for a temporary veteran QB that can perform at a good level while they develop JaMarcus Russell who they will pick 1st in the draft. Let's face it, Garcia will not take Oakland to the playoffs, nor will any other quarterback for that matter. He would just be a mentor to Russell, who could learn alot from the veteran. Garcia would then probably be the back-up QB behind Russell for a couple years after 2007. He would be a very good choice for the Raiders.

To think that the Raiders will pick up Garcia is ludicrous. He is 37 years old, that is way too old, considering 32 yr. old QBs are considered veterans. We need at least 2-4 yrs. with this QB and Garcia will be or should be retired in 2-4 yrs. The Raiders will not acquire Jeff Garcia, at least I hope they don't, but the Raiders do love the shock factor; maybe we'll go for Jake Plummer(that would def. be shocking, kind of), we will have to wait and see!

I am an Eagles fan, I have a lot of respect for Jeff. He did an awesome job for us this year...But he is a west coast Qb and he can only be productive in a WC Offence..I also think the Raiders will take Brady Quinn..

Trust me you do not want Jeff Garcia..

not very good, just look at the Browns and the Lions, Garcia played there and they were still awful, the Raiders won't turn this mess around for a while

The Raiders best bet is to pass on Garcia. Not only would he be unproductive on the field he's also a cancer in the locker room, while he was in Cleveland he alienated himself from the team and used the media to air his grievances . Not someone you want on your team at all

Still terrible. Moss wants out and no way Porter comes back. Still I think it would be to their best for them to sign Garcia then draft Calvin Johnson with their first overall pick.
