bio-dieasel is made from substances such as vegetable oil and stuff of the like where as ethanol is simply made from corn. o and by the way, good old fashioned off road diesel has alot more power ; )

Biodiesel is usually made from purified soybean oil and sometime left over oils from deep fryers. Using the new soybean oil is the best way to go because of the better lubrication.
Ethanol is usually made of fermented corn mash. Ethanol can lower your gas milage if it is not of good quaility.
