hosting program? I am not sure which lines of code to delete that Sitebuilder has put in. I know they use to have a ftp. site that would allow you to upload the coding so it can be used with a diiferent site other than Sitebuilder. Any ideas out there, or does anyone know what I am trying to say??
Thanks.

I know what you are trying to say; though I am *not* familiar with Sitebuilder. I have gone through a similar process with Google Page Creator.

On the Sitebuilder screen (I'm asking, or speculating) is there not, a method by which you can directly edit the layout's HTML? (There is, in Google.) On that screen, also, you can elect to "expand" the html" - which means, remove as much of their stuff as possible.

Then, highlight the entire screen's worth of code and click Edit and click Copy. On your computer's screen, in some html editor (or, say, Notepad), open up a blank file and click Paste.

Save the file with the extension .htm or .html and then make sure it works in a browser. (Go into My Computer, find the file, and double click it. If it doesn't work, then you've got some rewriting to do...grrr...If you don't know html, then you may need to fetch yourself a helping hand!)

Then when you get the file working, just ftp it up from your computer up to the new host.
