I want to know what young Brits like myself find cool about the 'States - Are there any parts of American culture that are appealing to our cynical British minds?
If you could adopt one aspect of American cool, what would it be? For example, Frat Parties, great urban music, New York graffiti and street basketball are all great American exports.
What else?

I am still thinking on this one!!!!!
There must be something appealing perhaps I should stop and have a snack at the New York Deli's while I carry on thinking, then perhaps a tour of the Grand Canyon and a visit to See the Giant Redwood Trees and on to see New England in the fall.
They are places not American Culture but at least the locals are friendly.

The games and movie industry pwns there though.
And they have more variety of people there which means I might get along with more there then people here in England.

The only decent American 'culture' is the right to bear arms. This 'hand wringing' nation will eventually disappear up its own ars*hole of political correctness. We need to have the right to bear arms to deal effectively with the 'pondlife' that British justice has bestowed upon us !!
Everyone else has access to guns EXCEPT the honest and law abiding citizens this government professes to protect!!!!!
Hopefully, one day, (with Tony Blairs help) this country will become the 51st State of America.

i would like the UK to adopt the right to kick the sh*t out of any fu**ker who came into my home.

Proms! Every girl wants to be Prom Queen!
I think they have better comedies than us - like Friends, Family Guy, The Simpsons.
They lead us in fashion, and New York is seen as loads better than London!
Also areas there have a much better climate than we do...and they have disneyland!
We also got our fast food culture from them!! Hence we are the most obese country in Europe!
