My baby started teething at 3 months, but didn't get any teeth until 6 1/2 months... She is almost 10 months old now, and still only has her two bottom teeth.
They say that the longer it takes for the teeth to come in, the healthier they are.

Well, that actually depends on the growth of the infant. And of course not all infants are the same. mine started teething at about 1 1/2 months, but my cousins baby was born with 2 front teeth! Crazy huh?!?

There is no "should" with teething. Can start as early as 4 or 5 month or as late as after your child is 1 year old. For a good prediction - ask your mom when you started teething. Usually children follow the same pattern as the parents.

A baby can start teething at 1 month but could take as long as a year before a baby starts to teeth it just depends on the child. Just remember not to get worried as every child is different. It is a very tiring time for you and for baby. when it does start!
Good Luck! x

It depends on the baby. Mine were all at different ages. The middle one was the fastest. He had 4 teeth by the time he was 4 months old.

I would say 4-6 months from experience. With my third, he teethed and teethed, I would see a little bud pop through, then it would go back in. Finally after about 3 months of this, one came through and stayed through. He was about 7 months old when it finally stayed through. He was fussy even though we couldn't see a tooth though.

My daughter and my niece started in the second month, but my nephew started at 6 months. I think 3-6 months is common.
