Do you think that candidates running for president wanting to make a change is old hat?

When they ask for suggestions, the suggestions aren't used. The one change I would like to see is to hold any elected candidate accountable for not pursuing what he or she promised while soliciting votes. How do you feel about this?

It would be great, but would involve most politicians. I think when they have debates, they should be wired up to lie detectors, that everyone can see on a big screen. Then run a couple of thousand volts through them when they tell lies. At least, that way, the public could have a laugh. :)
