No way....in the first show they lived next to each other and right beside a meat packing plant...they were chasing each other thru there and got caught in the machinery...catdog...

One would almost consider the possibility that someone at Nickelodeon was perhaps partaking of too much flammable herbal medication, yet I digress. The idea was born from two people whom one had a dog, the other a cat and thought "gee, what would happen if...", and then came the show. Yes, the are what would be referred to as "conjoined twins". I couldn't tell you who was the father or the mother though. I believe one was perhaps a yellow lab and the other your run of the mill tabby though!

They once wasn't, but when they got separated from their parents in tornado, it made them join together
