Nesta Robert Marley's father was Norval Sinclair Marley. He was white Jamaican, born to British parents from Sussex, England. Sussex is in the southern part of England and Liverpool is on the north west side, quite a bit of difference between the two. His father was in the service, and was away quite often. He supported them finacially and died with Bob was 10yrs old.

Amazing how many Wikipedia copy and pastes are on this article. Marleys mother claimed he was a Scouse soldier, and she actually slept with him. She disputed your Wiki theories. The internet has means to much more reliable information than Wiki. Often the real answers are on the 3rd or 4th page of search engine results.
