I would consider bias to be similar to racist and to some extent judgemental.

I would see bias perhaps as more of a tendency to have a certain attitude though, than actually having it. As in, you seem biased towards the conservative side or you seem to have a bias where racial differences are concerned. So it would be more an inclination or tendency that actually an open statement regarding race in a negative term that would be seen as racist or judgmental.

not rly, bias means to already lean on one side, even before thinking about it. Such as if you ask a person from harvard what is the best college, they will obviously give a biased response that harvard is the best. A democrat will give you a biased response if you ask them which is better democrats or Republicans.
i think your thinking of prejudice, thats what you were describing

Judgemental in a way that slants towards a person's held belief. It can be positive or negative. A mother is biased towards her own children being the best in the school play, positive, or in your example a person is biased against a person because of race, negative.
