1. For crossovers, you need to practice. Games don't help it, you need to develop it with repetition.
2. Losing the ball how? If it is while dribbling, learn to dribble low and with your head up. It is much easier to steal the ball from a guy if he dribble high. These both require drills.
3. For better passing, learn the game. Know how people defend and how people move on the court. That part is more court awareness than hand eye coordination.
And the other part, playing more does help your game, but try to play with people who are as good as you or preferably, people who are better than you. One of the worst ways of trying to get better is playing in a bad pickup game. It will make your game worse.

PS i beleive the reason it work so well is the surface wasnt falt so the ball bonce all over the place and i had to learn to control it and u should do one had each day then both the third day

There's no other way than practicing...the best way is to just keep a basketball in your hands wherever you go, practicing dribbling (without looking at the ball) when you can. As for passing, again, practice...get a friend, play bball a lot (especially games of 3-on-3 to 5-on-5), and it will start to come naturally.

To improve your hand-eye corrdination, try playing video games. That really helps. I'm not really a good B-ball player... but i noticed that after i played video games for a while, i got better

practice dribbling a basketball ------ blindfolded!
this will let you have confidence with the dribbling and have your head up looking at what else is going on the court. Also, try dribbling a basketball up and down stairs.

Practice a lot with other people. You do not develop these kinds of skills when you're just shooting the ball by yourself, or just shooting around with other people. You develop these skills through pick-up games.
