Anyone have a step-by-step guide on enabling javascript in Internet Explorer 7?

Internet Options >> Security >> Internet (or diffrent zone) >>
Custom Level >> Scripting: Active scripting: Enable.

Hi there.

Normally, that option is set to enabled by default when you first install IE7. Anyhow, here's how you do it manually.

ALT-T (menu bar pops into view), Internet Options, Security Tab, single Click on the globe pic, click on "Custom Level" button, a Security Settings - Internet Zone window comes up, scroll down in Settings box to near the bottom to find Scripting. Make sure "active scripting" and "Scripting of Java Applets" is set to enabled then OK, OK.

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling Java. From what I know, M$ does not include Java runtimes anymore since Windows XP came out. You'll have to download the Java package from the Sun site.

Javascript has an update that will fix it on their website. I was shocked by the amount of stuff that needed fixes to work with IE7.

you need to get the updates for java. Go to their website and down laod them from there.
