When TNA was on Fox Sports they had a timer for almost every match, I don't know if there was a "limit" though. Otherwise, it's seemed to fall out of use. I think they take away a lot of excitement, because it's generally assumed that the match will either end in a draw, or go to the very last minute, killing the drama in the rest of the match.

Yeah, in an Iron Man match. In a WWE Iron Man Match, there is a set time limit, usually 60 minutes, and the Superstar to score the most pinfalls and/or submissions in the allotted time is declared the winner. I'm not sure when the last time there was a match like that, but there is such a thing as a match with a time limit.

Certain types of matches have time limits like ironman matches

The last time they used time limits was in the beat the clock sprint on smackdown to see who would face Batista at the royal Rumble

No.And the last time they used it,it was the match if that Kane lost he would lose his mask(which he did lose!Boo Hoo for me!).
