What is the best type of dog to have?

I just want to know and maybe help other people choose the perfect pet and all that jazz!

It depends on the owners and their lifestyle more than anything. A dog that requires a lot of exercise and attention would not be a good match for someone that is never home for example, A dog that has a tendancy to be agressive would not be a good choice for people with children. Also personal preference should be taken in to consideration. A pet is a huge responsibility and one that shouldn't get taken lightly....a dog's life expectancy is usually above 10 years....bringing one into your household is a big commitment...........over all I would say retrievers are a good choice..........another factor to consider would be the age of the owner......an excitable dog might not do so well with an elderly person.....shih tzu breed are very affectionate dogs.........depending on the breeds involved, mixed breed dogs are generally good pets.........hope this helps

um well make sure the dog or puppy has background info and its pure bred. cuz mutts tend to have more sickness. then look at what breeds are prone to a certain type of dieases. so yah. mostly labradors or poodles. good luck :)

If you want a medium sized dog I would say a boxer. they have short hair so sheding isn't a big deal..they have a lot of energy and love to play.n they are easily trained and loved to be with people. they are proctective loyal and low mateniance dogs

One that is not as noisy as mine and doesn't need that much grooming. I have a mini schnauzer.
