No, don't put them together. You will have babies in 28 days if they are both sexually mature. You should consider getting your girl spayed as it is beneficial for her health (much greater risk of uterine cancer or other diseases of the reproductive organs if unspayed) and it will help her disposition. Info on why spay/neuter:

Once she is spayed, if you want to get a friend, consider adopting a rabbit from a local rescue. Many of those rabbits are already neutered. Many let you bring your bunny to meet potential pals which makes it more likely that they bunnies will be friends. When you bring home the new bunny, let them live in side by side cages and introduce them slowly in neutral territory.
Here's some info on bonding:

Bunnies can and do eat cardboard. A little won't hurt them, but watch that the cardboard doesn't have tape of staples in it.

It depends on the size of your cage. Rabbits in a cage are like fish in a tank. You have to have so much room for each animal. One will definitely be more dominant so you will have to make sure they don't hurt the other one. You will also need to check into at least getting your male neutered. There is no reason to let the bunnies breed unless you have loving, caring, responsible homes waiting for each baby. Too many baby bunnies end up forgotten, ignored or snake food. Check out some bunny books at the library or get on line and do some research.
As for cardboard, bunnies like to chew. Cardboard is better than baseboards.

They will do O.K. in a cage together for a while. when the male has, done his job, when he tries to mount her he will silde off. there will be tons of chasing and possibly biting and blood drawn.Probably 4-6 babies each time you let them breed.Other than for breeding purposes keep them seperated and if you just want a friend for your female, buy another feamle and make sure they have a big enough cage. The cardboard is perfectly safe as long as it is not painted or sprayed with anything.

They dont call it Fu**ing like rabbits for nothing. You will end up with lots of cotton tailed babies if you put them togeather. If you get the male get him nutered at your vets office (I had mine done and it cost the same as a cat). It will also help with the males temperment as he gets older and you will be able to keep them in the same cage provided it is big enough. As for the cardboard, bunnies like to chew on just about anything a little card board does not hurt but too much may give her the runs.

They will mate if they aren't fixed and you'll have bunnies all over the place. Cardboard and newspaper is fine to eat. I suggest you read the book The House Rabbit Handbook and go to these websites and read up.

It's OK if they are kept in the same cage but if you don't want her to get pregnant then you will need two cages otherwise you will just need a bigger cage.
Cardboard is OK for them but just plain cardboard. Nothing with print on it.

don't put them together unless you want lots and lots of babies, all the time, one litter right after another.
Unless you get one of the bunny's spayed or neutered. Yes, rabbits like a 'partner', but please, no babies!
My rabbit eats plain, clean cardboard all the time--he chews on it. But it's clean brown cardboard, not anything with paint or printing on it.
