I make crafts. I have a big container of corks from wine bottles that someone gave me. I want to make something with them. I was thinking of stringing them as a garland for a teenager's room onto twine but I don't know what to string in between them to make the garland interesting and cool. Any and all ideas welcomed.

if you get a corkboard ($10ish Office Max) and hot glue all of your corks on them in patterns, you can use it as a message board or to pin artwork on.

there are other lame (yet fun) projects all over the internet; I googled this: http://www.wineintro.com/products/corks/

Colored ribbon to match the room works. How about making the space in between interesting and put something shiny. Like mirrored disk, cyrtsals, bead. The list could go on and on. Fot a boys room you could use fadric as a spacer in between the corks and hang die cast cars from the center. Or little baseballs, basketballs, soccer balls, footballs or whatever the child was into.

I just saw someone take a bunch of those and lay them on their side in an arrangement under a piece of glass for a coffee table.
Take your wood (finished size you want) arrange the corks into your pattern and hot glue in place (if u want you could screw or nail them) then just set the glass on top.

hi how are you I'm going to have to say colored ribbon to match the room that you would hang out up in. But you could do black or white just to match anything. you could also braid three different colored ribbons and do it that way too well i hope i solved your problem "chow"

This isn't as much a craft but I have seen it done, if you put them along the bottom of a bigger potted plant.

i think you should put either colored ribbons or colored or plain shoe laces.those would be a good combonation with both the ribbon and laces
