I make crafts. I have a big container of corks from wine bottles that someone gave me. I want to make something with them. I was thinking of stringing them as a garland for a teenager's room onto twine but I don't know what to string in between them to make the garland interesting and cool. Any and all ideas welcomed.

the lids to beer bottles or the coke bottles with metal caps..I'm not sure how you could string them on there maybe make a small hole in the middle of the cap but I think it would look cool and it would all be in the same theme seeing as how you are using corks..

You could string them together with thin fuse wire, and thread then twist several beads on in between, that always looks pretty. Or if you're set on using twine, you could use smooth pebbles, providing they aren't too heavy, drill holes in them and thread & tie them in between the corks.
Or for a more nautical, beachy theme why not use broken pieces of seashells?
The pretty kind of sweet wrappers work well too if you want a 'junky' theme. I spend too much time doing stuff like this - I could go on forever!

make a cork boat or send them to a company where they recycle them to make more so they dont have to kil the trees to get the cork, because cork trees are almost extinct believe it or not. http://www.yemmhart.com/news+/winecorkrecycling.htm

beer bottle tops.......... for a tipsy party theme.
or glue them together to make floating soap 'rafts' for the bath.
