Clubs receive £500,000 for winning the Carling Cup.

That doesn't include any merchandising or TV, that is pure winning money.

Hopefully just enough to buy john terry his own ambulance! It could come in handy, as I have just heard he is playing against Porto FC. Not that I was suprised to hear that.
