Would you recommend the good DVD recorder (to copy directly, not through PC) to transfer videos from video camera tapes (DV) onto DVD media.
Or maybe there's a new technology to do that already??
Something not too complicated and not too expensive.
Thx

Hi Tatiana D,

What I would recommend you do is first transfer them to your computer so you can edit them. If you are like me every now & then you get some excellent shots of your feet or some such thing.

At any rate I would get a video capture device such as DVD Express. I got mine at Sam's for $59.95. You feed your video camera into it and it connects to your computer via a USB cable.

You can then edit your videos and put them on a DVD. I assume you have a DVD burner in your computer.

The DVD Express comes with video editing software and the necessary cables so you don't need anything else.
