I really would like to get my belly button pierced, but am afraid it will hurt really bad. Can anyone offer a "baby" some words of comfort? BE HONEST - scale of 1-10 (10 the worst) how bad is the pain?

The pain for me was a 0. I didn't feel it one bit. The only way I new it was done was by the look of horror on my mother's face. lol Back then I was 15, I didn't have a high pain tolerance, and I swear it didn't hurt me. But again, that's just me. But don't worry, if there is pain, it will be over in a heartbeat and be way worth it. Don't be scared to get what you want.

My boyfriend does this and I can tell you that no pain is 10 other than nipple peircing.I felt like I just got shot or something.My son has a labre.(CHIN).on the scale I'd give it about a 4 I'd go for it girl no big deal.I don't deal with pain well at all.Get a professional to do it Please.

As long as they don't lolligag around - the faster the better. Yes, it hurt when I had mine done, but the pain is over quickly (about a 6). Stays sore for several days, but make sure you slide it around a lot and put gobs of that bacitracin junk on it. They will (or should) tell you this when you have it done.

Mine was about a 4. What hurt the worst was the clamps that she placed on beforehand! There was a lady that had hers done right before mine and afterwards she threw up. I really depends on who your going to. Good Luck!

I have a 14 year old daughter who has a no pain tolerance level. She had her navel done without flinching. It is a quick, easy process.

i am 14 and have just had mie done....i am such a wimp and found geting my ears periced reeeeeely painfull
on a true scale i wud say 4....for me it was not nearly as painfull as my ears and is very quick.
