- instead of using I refer to yourself as 'the student' 'the author'
- instead of we use an organisations name,
- instead of them use the organisations name, or their funtion i.e. the management, or the employees.
- in stead of using it/he/she just name their function or the object.
that or you can throw about sentences:
therefor i conclude that .... - from this can be concluded that ...
i am writing this because ... - the aim of this document is...
in despirate attempts you can use 'one' or 'people'
like refrasing your question:

Besides a persuasive essay, what type of essay are you writing? What are you trying to persuade people to do, think, feel? When writing a persuasive essay, you do not have to address your reader using a pronoun (I, you, me, etc.). You can say something like "A library is the easiest place to study since it is quiet and there are librarians to help you with your questions if you get stuck." Or, you can state that "Homeschooling benefits children in academic and non-academic areas since it removes many of the social pressures prevalent in public schools today."
If you're trying to persuade someone to take action, you could write a scenario that is disturbing and then present your solution in rosier terms. An example of this would be the effects of global warming on the world and the quality of life for people and animals, and your solution could be the measures you'd take to combat it. A conclusion would be the rosier picture of life without global warming effects.
If you need more technical help, go to Purdue's OWL (Online Writing Lab) and look for persuasive writing. They have the best online lab I've ever seen, and I use it all the time.

Imagine you are taking dictation from somebody who knows about the situation you are writing about and that you aren't involved. That should get you started in the right way. Then check what you've written, asking whether the essay reports on who, what, when, how, why (as many of these questions as are necessary to describe the situation or present the argument). Then look it over againj and if you can't use first and second person, use revision to rewrite any sentences to replace first and second person that has crept in with third person or an alternate form of expression). If you are writing an essay to hand in as homework, revise, revise, revise till you get it right. If you are concerned about this under a tight deadline (e.g., for an essay answer to an exam question) practice, practice, practice at home till you can do this easily and quickly — you have to have confidence in your ability to do this BEFORE you go into the exam or other short deadline situation.

When one is attempting to write an essay one should use proper grammar.
The general population must understand these simple truths in order to write an essay.
A myriad of different types of people must write an essay at some point.
Hope these helped illustrate how to use the 3rd person.

If you are forbidden to use first and second person, that only leave third. I think that is harder, especially in a persuasive essay in which personal opinion would usually be involved. I think I would first jot down the basics in my normal way, and then change the first and second person pronouns to third person--he, she, it, they, etc. I think you can also consider "one" as third person, so instead of saying " I feel . . . ," you could say "one might feel that . . .". I don't that makes as strong a statement, but your instructor must have a point he or she is trying to make by limiting you to third person. Maybe it is one of those "think outside the box" kind of things to get you out of your comfort zone--a bit cruel, but effective.

It's actually very easy to write in third person. Just imagine you had just watched a TV show or a movie and were telling your best friend about it. You would never use words like I, or me, because YOU were not in the story. Imagine yourself as the narrator, not the main character...
