Just off the coast of Georgia......CUMBERLAND ISLAND
If you love nature and getting away from it all and I do mean all this is it. You can stay at the Islands only luxury inn Greyfield Inn an old Carnegie home, or you can camp. Be sure to take insect repellent if you plan on camping.
Wild horses run free on this beach & I have lovely photos with them just yards away where we lay sunning. There are many sanddollars and shells and who knows you may even find an old Carnagie artifact.
The live oaks are gorgeous and the walks and trails are heavenly.
There are no kids with loud music, no stores, no phones, no cars just peace and tranquillity, the Island and all ancient Carnegie homes just make images of the by gone era dane in my head.
If you want a little more posh stay in St Mary's GA at a place called Spencer House B&B the inn keppers mike and mary will take EXCELLENT care of you and pack your lunch and make your ferry reservations for Cumberland daily in advance of your trip.
Greyfield was host to the JFK jr honeymoon and wedding party, It truly is Tara by the Sea. INDESCRIBEABLE
If you go and do the ferry trip, take the walking guided tour its free and very informative of a by gone era.

you may evaluate a flow to to the mountains this twelve months. the cutting-edge NASA satellite tv for pc photograph on the link, under, exhibits the seen area of the slick basically approximately due south of Apalachicola, FL, decrease back on Monday. i'm having a threat that this might flow down in history as between the worst guy-made mess ups in history, so it could be thrilling, from a historic attitude, to flow down there besides.
