Hey I have a question for everyone hoping someone can offer advice on my situation. I am 2 1/2 weeks late and have taken a few tests *(okay 10 lol) but I keep getting these really faint lines with several brands. Like you can tell something is there with a little color but then it gets darker after the time is up. So we finally gave up tryin to not go blind lookin at faint lines and bought a clearblue easy digital and it said Pregnant. So we were very excited! But still being a little weary I bought another Fact-plus +/- kind and took it a few days later in the middle of the day and it barely got a positive at all... like you can barely see a line at all... now its darker the next day.. but shouldnt it be really dark if im actually pregnant?? Just wondering if you could give me any advice and your stories!! Thanks!!! I go to the doctor this week... but im nervous to what they will say!!! Thanks in advance!!!

I had the same problem. I took 6 tests. The digital tests both said pregnant. The line tests (especially the Wal-Mart brand) were so faint that we weren't sure if they were positive or not. The blood test came back positive and we're now 15 weeks pregnant with a little girl. I would trust the digital tests.

A line is a line. As long as it's the same color of the control line, no matter how faint, it is a positive test. Especially if you've gotten a positive on a digital test, you are pregnant! A blood test will ease your mind, and you should see a doctor to get started on prenatal care, but you are pregnant! Congratulations!

It is alot easier to get a clear answer with the digital test, but even if the line is faint, and it shows up in the time allowed according to the directions, then it is a positive. Congrats, good luck, and best wishes!

any line at all is a positive test. it doesn't matter how dark it is or not. i have taken several where they came out positive and then the line went away after a day. i knew i was pregnant, but wanted to keep the test for the baby. you are pregnant.

The hcg could still be low in your urine so it wouldn't show up a real dark line if you are. I would say it's safe to say you are prego. So congrats! Did you take one with the first urine of the day? I know the tests say you can test anytime, but the first of the day is still the best.

Hi
Take the test 1st thing in the morning when your urine is its strongest. My test was positive days before I missed my period. This is different for everyone based on the amount of hormone detected in the urine. Each person produces different amounts.

Did you take your temperatures? If you are pregnant, sometimes you body temp rises and stays risen throughout your pregnancy.

Good luck and hang in there!

there's never a false positive. if you saw a line on those other tests, even a faint one, you're pregnant!! the hormones take longer to be released in some women, causing the line to not be so dark. but you're pregnant, CONGRATS!

Get a Blood Test, OH! and it doesn't matter if is faint or dark it still pregnant. And if you have doubts get a blood test. that's the most accurate test of all.

Congratualtions!!

Okay first of all, do you still get cramps even if it has'nt started?
When cooking or just smelling any type of meat, do you feel dizzy or sick?
If you feel this then get a doctor to test you.....
