Favors:

Lil Candy Bars (you can get paper and make lil messages from the baby..its cute)

Make a lil note from the baby saying "Thanks for coming to my shower and thanks for all the wonderful gifts."

And games.....

The Ribbon/Tummy game: Get a thing of ribbon, pass it around the room and everyone cuts of about how much would go around the mommie's tummy..and then they measure it and cut off whatever is left over...and the person w/ the shortest one wins!

The Diaper Game: get about 5 diapers, and number them on the butt...and get 5 different types of chocoloate and melt them seperatley, then put them into the diapers...pass them around and make each person guess what type it is..and whoever gets the most right wins.

the bottle race game: put about a cup of tea or milk into 3 different bottles, get 3 volunteers to suck it out the bottle, whoever finishes 1st wins!

good luck! hope i helped!

Some good games I've seen are the bottle one that was mentioned, as well as the clothes pin one. There's also this one my cousin did: get 6-7 kinds of baby food, take off the labels (but remember which is which!), label them 1-7 or however many you have, and have each guest try to guess what it is by taste. The one that gets the most correct wins.

As for party favors, hit the dollar store. You can always find cute little things to give away for not a lot of money.

The two games that I recommend are the safety-pins in rice game (you get a large bowl and fill it with safety pins and rice/blindfold the player/time it for one minute/see how many pins they can get out of the bowl before time is up) and the clothes pin game (everyone gets one clothespin and puts it on their clothing/whoever crosses their legs can have their clothespin taken away by another guest/whoever has the most clothespins at the end of the shower wins! Pregnant women usually can't cross their legs which makes the game funny!). As far as prizes, I always got mine from a dollar store. Suggestions would be photo albums, photo frames, note paper, candles, anything that you think might be useful or decorative. Have fun!

My favorite game is the baby and name game. Have everyone but the mommy and daddy wear a necklace of some sort (like a plastic pacifier on a string). If anyone catches another say the word baby or the baby's name, they can take the necklace. The person with the most necklaces at the end of the shower wins.

A really good game is baby bingo. Everyone gets a bingo grid (you can make them or get them off the internet) and before the presents get open you tell the guests to fill in each square with items that they think might be the babies presents. Example: bottles, crib sheets, stuffed bear... Then as the presents are opened they mark them off if they're on their bingo sheet. Whoever yells bingo first gets a prize!
Dollar General has lots of good baby shower favors. You could get candles, planners, journals, notebooks, photo albums, picture frames, and other good things for cheap.
If your looking for a good present check out diaper cakes. They're fun, practical, cute, and can be used as part of the decorations too!

a cute game is partially melting different types of candy bars in diapers and letting people try to guess. Give prizes for the one who guesses the most correct (without tasting).

Go to google and type in "Baby Shower Games" there are lots of links.
A nice idea is to buy thankyou notes for the mommy. Hand out the envelopes and have everyone write their name and address on one. You can use them for a prize drawing, then mom has the envelopes already addressed when she needs to send thank you notes.

For favors you could be typical and give baby type favors, but people don't really use them. Maybe try small plants in cute painted pots.

Games: Have each guest rip off a length of toilet paper that they think will fit around mom's belly. Closest wins!
Buy safety pins; have each person wear 5; Have a word, like baby or bottle, that when someone is caught saying it, the person who catches them gets one of their pins. The one with the most at the end, wins.
Party favors: why don't you make them all baby related things that go to the new mom anyway? Those women don't need anymore stuff!

I have a page off of my website that has some unique, SENTIMENTAL activities to enjoy at the shower....and there are also some ideas for prizes/favors towards the bottom of the page! Check it out, if you like. It's nice to have a little sentiment mixed in with the craziness sometimes, you know?

Ask a few close friend/guests to provide you with a baby picture and a grown-up picture of themselves. Number the baby pictures, put letters on the adult pictures and have guests try to match. This usually works best with no more than about 12 pictures. Also, you can make a list of adult animal names and have people fill in the baby-for example cow/calf or fox/kit.
