the most important thing is to be comfortable in what you are wearing and not to overdo things wear something that flatters your looks and looks good on you but that is suitable to your surroundings

You know, I went to polyvore, and then I realized, I can't pick an outfit for you. Any outfit has to fit your personality and your character. If you're an extroverted, confident, free soul, well then, the sky's the limit! Anything will suit you because you'll pick what to wear out of your nature, you'll just go for it and you won't second guess yourself! I would say you are perhaps a bit doubting about yourself otherwise you would'nt be so asking for others to assist you. I'd say, just go with your feelings. And leave it at that! It will be the chemistry between you and that special person you're so anticipating, that will be the real focus of the whole event. The clothes are the frosting on the cake, but not the actual cake, are they? Yes, look your best. But be your most comfortable self. Whatever clothes make you feel that way, then go for it, because if you're relaxed, that's when your personality will shine, for all it's worth! It's so much more about you, than the clothes! And I wish I knew that, years ago, when I was in the dating game. The clothes matter not, when you get right down to it. I wish I hadn't wasted so much time fretting about nothing! i think that you should go with some neutral colors to a dinner date and a real nice out fit will be a nice casual dress pants a nice top with a jacket over and some jessica simpson shoes or boots

I agree with Smudgerok, it is important to be comfortable, then you will feel more at ease with yourself, and in your surroundings. Something smart, not too loud and heels.......Heels always make you feel more attractive. Good luck
