Without panties? Yes I imagine the women that work as lifeguards never wear them under the bathing suits. Far to bulky and uncomfortable. I always wondered where the expression going postal came.

Postal Sevice Rules? I'd have to see that one in black & white. There is no way that an employer can mandate whether you wear undergarments or not. Panties were made to protect clothing from bodily fluid. Why would the postal service want that on their uniforms?

And for the poster above me, the term "Going Postal" means to "Get angry at a work situation & come in with guns blazing". Back in the 90's a worker did just that @ a Post Office somewhere. Killed/wounded people. Google it. It's got nothing to do with underwear.

Panties have a purpose that have nothing to do with modesty, and everything to do with cleanliness. Anyone who wishes to excrete bodily fluids into the crotch of their pants, or on other peoples furniture (in the event that they are wearing a short skirt), are disgusting. I sure as heck would not want to loan my clothing to any woman who didnt wear underwear, because I dont let anyone borrow my underwear, so when I let them borrow my clothing, I expect for them to not treat it like underwear.
