It's not weird at all.
I tell my gal pals I love them all the time. They're like my sisters, and I love my sisters to death. So loving someone close to you should come natural. And telling them should too.

Just say it. Like at the end of a phone convo., just be like, "Alright girl. Night, and love you."

You may be surprised. Maybe she feels the same way. Some people weren't brought up in homes where the phrase 'I love you' was prevelant, and saying it to people who aren't blood relatives may seem weird. But just do it. You'll feel better!

Hope this helped, and love ya!♥

I was facing the same problem .. In the beginning used to feel little silly and confused in saying so but now i have realised it is just a form of expression to put across your message and feelings. Infact i tell that to my best friends now because i really do care about them n yea even love them .its not a gay thing. Its the same thing if u tell that to ur mum dad.

No it's not weird. You can love people of the same gender..I tell my friends I love them all the time. I tell my mom and sisters etc. It's not weird at all. Seems normal to me.

It's perfectly ok to say I love you to whom ever you feel the love for. Don't let society make you believe that loving anyone (romantic or just friendship) of the same sex is wrong. I say I love you to my best girlfriend all the time. Its just away of expressing affection.

It is wierd when you say you love Love a person of the same gender but if you say I love you to the same gender it`s not that wiedr. It`s like you kind of say you like them It doesn`t meen you love love them. But I know what you meen. It is only wierd to us when gay people say I love you to same gender as thay are. Now that IS WIERD!!!

I tell all my friends I love them, girls and guys. I do they're the closest people to me and I know they love me too. Its just a different kinda love rather than being in a gf bf relationship.

No, it's Ok to say "I love you " to anyone. Love isn't always a sexual feeling.

There is such a thing as love between friends or love between family members. And parents and children are supposed to share a bond of love.

so saying "I love you" is fine.

You can tell you people of the same gender that you love them. I told my bff that i love her she is like my little sister. There is nothing wrong with that.

No. I always tell my girl friends that I love them because I do. I am not in love with them, but I do love them very much. There's nothing wrong with telling them at all.
