It all depends on what you are interested in. If you like art/culture, Austin is a great place. There are so many things to do there that are fun and interesting. If you like Antiques stop by fredricksburg. Or you could always go North to the Dallas/Ft. Worth are. There are plenty of tourist attractions up there. Try getting online and searching for (your interests) in Texas. Good luck and have a great trip!
(Enchanted Rock is absolutley gorgeous too!)

If you do not get any better ideas. On a nice warm sunny day, rent a car and drive from somewhere like San Antonio to El Paso via Rt10. This takes you through the great southwest desert and it is beautiful. In the distance for hours you see these beautiful purple mountains and goregeous buttes. Its awe inspiring. Make sure you fill up the tank half way at VanHorn!!

Sometime in May there are MathCounts competitions in Fort Worth. Interesting to those competing, but not many others.
