i'm at the end of my rope. i don't know what to do. i don't know what i can do.

my work history sucks. i can't find a job anywhere. i'm not even having luck with staffing agency's. my last position fired me in december and the reason they gave was fishy. in march last year, i was fired from a position that i absolutely loved because of an inappropriate e-mail that was sent around the company.

so basically, i was fired twice last year, i have a crappy work history, very expensive rent, no one to help me and i can't find work.

i don't know what to do...where to go. does anyone have any advice? and don't bother posting if you're just going to say "hang in there, things will turn around."

Are you interested in direct sales? There are tons of companies out there just choose carefully and get all the facts. I sell Mary Kay and I love it. I find it easy to sell and I get paid for hanging out with my girlfriends. i never thought i would do anything like this but I have been selling it for 2 1\2 years and quit my full time job last Nov. I would be happy to tell you more if your are interested in the facts email me. Good Luck.

Why are you having no luck in the staffing agencies? Do you call the agencies that you registered with that you are still looking? The staffing agencies have over 10,000 job applicants and they can't keep track of every body individually. So, it is common for you to call in every Monday & tell them that you are still looking. Did you contact your local unemployment agency and file for unemployment? The staffing agencies are still working on mine and I only have 6 months of work experience, so remember something is bound to happen!

Move to a place with cheaper rent and get a job-- any job- there are lots of jobs out there but you may not be considering enough of them.
Consider lesser paying jobs and possibly two jobs-- restaurants, motels, department stores, grocery stores, etc. and do your job/s well for at least a year so you have some decent references.

Anyone can get a job in retail. If you stand the customers, you can make it.
