Sooo.. I bought the PC game, but I have this glitch. I have The Sims 2 installed, but it doesn't take up much space or anything, and it runs fine, if not a bit slow.
I think it could be solved by more RAM, can this be achieved externally?

I certainly have own journey with enjoying The Sims 2 with flashing pink partitions. yet it replace into The Sims 2, i think the difficulty is a similar. the difficulty is your pix card. sure your RAM will advance your computers working velocity, whether it won't end the flashing pink partitions. Beilive me, I had 1Gb of RAM in my computing device whilst the partitions blinked pink. I solved it by skill of having a sparkling, extra as much as date pix card. as quickly as the cardboard is greater, happy blinkless gaming. eBuyer is a superb internet site to by skill of them from, incredibly affordable and solid.

Actually, the flashing walls and furniture glitches are usually caused by the video card. Try updating to the latest video drivers. That usually fixes it.

I also thought it was solved by updating your drivers ... it is for Sims 2 - but I've noticed that someone else has the same problem & has posted a quesiton on the SimsZone:

Unfortunately, it's not yet (at the time of me typing this) been answered but hopefully someone will have by the time you click the link.

I'd also try looking on the EA Forum:

Good luck
