i know there are so many factors and ways to get into a college, but i thought someone who knew about the college selection process would know be able to give me some information.

my first choice college is Belmont University in Nashville. i want to major in music business.

i have a 3.6 gpa
i have taken a variety of ap courses
i have played 3 varsity sports for 4 years
i have taken various classes relating to the major i want to persue
i am involved in 2 clubs

belmont has a 69% acceptance rate.

also if i really like this school should i apply for early decision / early action? or should i still leave my options open?

any imput would be great.

Yes, I think your chances are excellent to get into Belmont.

If you really like the school, there is nothing wrong with doing early decision, it gives "a plan" and takes away the doubt and worry you might feel later on. I did and I was glad.

Princeton Review has lots of information about their admission requirements. You don't mention your SAT scores. 75% of those accepted have an SAT score of 1650 or higher. Your GPA is just above the average of those accepted. Given their high acceptance rate, my guess is that you will have no problem getting into Belmont -- and could probably do better.
