Depends on the position you are applying for...if it's for a stocker or cashier something like that you want to look nice but really casual don't wear a t-shirt with holes in it or anything like that,if you are applying for management then dress a little nicer throw a tie into it,just don't go over board with an all out suit or any thing...Good luck on the job!

For any job interview regardless of what the job is, first impressions are everything, you must always wear something smart and something that can be told apart from your casual everyday clothes, you might never wear it to work again, but the dress code is the first vital rule: preferably a suit, or something smart to say the least. If you slip there, consider yourself screwed.
Smart Shirt, Tie, Trousers, Knee length (atleast) skirt if you're a woman, preferably a dark, sober colour. Same goes for your shoes, they need to tie in with the rest of your attire - smart shoes/ no trainers.
It shows you made the effort to look presentable to your prospective employer and that you are showing them the respect they deserve, it doesn't matter what the nature of the job is, the employer expects you to show every job you apply for your greatest respect to see if you deserve it, you could be applying to wash the dishes at a restuarant and you'd still dress up (that's mainly the reason for the formal dress code really).
____________________________________________________
Next to the dress which is the first impression you have to ofcourse fill the rest of the interview with something equally good - do not cross your legs, do not look slack, sit up slightly looking attentive, maintain a neutral body position facing the employer (just because the chair has wheels doesnt mean you can turn all which way), turn your mobile phone off, and make sure you maintain eye contact with the employer when talking to them - talk calmly and be cool - the fact is that the long pause before you answer a question tells the employer more about you than anything else you do or say.

Despite the casual nature of that store, I think you still need to wear professional clothing - nice pants (kacky or dress slacks) with a white dress shirt and a tie would look great. Your first impression is a lasting one, so go in there with your best foot forward with a clean look. Good luck on the interview!

You didn't mention if you were male or female, so I'll give a generic answer. Wear a pair of dark khaki-type dress pants, a blouse/shirt that is tucked in, a nice belt, and a casual shoe (but not athletic shoes of any type). Make sure that your hair is cut and styled, your hands are clean, and your clothes are pressed and neat looking.

Button down shirt tucked in with a belt, some type of casual dress shoe and cords or casual pants. Avoid Jeans and T-shirts. Be clean shaved, be confident in the way you look and feel. Your attitude with be something the interviewer will sub-consciously notice

Go to the store and see what the employees are wearing. Then select an outfit that is one level more formal than the employees.
If you will be working on the floor, Dockers-style pants and a Polo-style shirt should be sufficient for men. A nice skirt and blouse, or dress for women.

Always dress nicely for any job interviews.
If you're a male; a clean shirt, clean pants, nicely combed hair should suffice. (Ditto for women too if you like wearing pants).
For Lowe's; if you are looking at upper management, then wear a tie, if not- don't worry.
Most importantly; DON'T look scruffy! Go in looking cool, calm, collected, and clean. Your personality counts too!

Pressed slacks (black or khaki) and a non-offensive colored button up (no red or black) always win. It's neutral and respectful of your employer. If you're a girl DON'T wear anything open toed.
