There's no set time. If you are breastfeeding, you won't see your period for some time. Don't stress over it, though. No periods was the best thing about being pregnant (besides the darling growing in the tummy). Let it take as long as it wants!!

immedietly following the birth of your child, you should have started bleeding. that should have lasted 4 to 6 weeks. about a week after that ends you period should begin. if you have had sex at all during the initial bleeding out stage then you might just be pregnant again. you obgyn should have already told you something was up. you should have visited your obgyn 2 weeks after your child was born, four weeks, and on the six week after your child was born. if you didnt you need to schedule a visit with your obgyn immedietly because you could have long term effective with your uterus if it is not checked on.

If your breast feeding it wont be for a while. I forget how but breastfeeding keeps you from having your period. If not you should probably be back to your normal cycle soon if you don't please get checked. You should (or will) have had a follow up with your gynecologist, if you're not flowing by then make sure you mention it.

It depends if you are breast feeding it will take longer. You many not get your period back for a few months. Now remember this does not mean that you cannot get pregnant so you should still use protection.

Are you breast feeding? Some women that breast feed don't have a period until they stop. I, however, had one by (during) my 6 week exam. If it's something you're concerned about call your OB Gyn and ask them about it.

It depends if you breastfeed or not. I dont think there's a given time line, but if you breastfeed its takes longer to get it. I got mine after 10 months when i cut down feeding.

If you are breast feeding, don't expect it any time soon. When in doubt, ask your OB/GYN
