Ok let me add a few more details..!

I want to Access Gmail which is blocked by our corporate firewall

can we programattically bypass the firewall
using some public domains or ips?

Windows firewall gives you an option to
use to allow an outside program to
by pass your firewall.
Clink on the link they give you.
Box will open.
Type in the program you want to
allow in.

Not really clear on what you mean - if you need to change the firewall settings on your computer, right click My Network Places the properties. Right click your connection, properties again. Click the Advanced tab, then click the "Settings" button in the windows firewall section. From here you can change the ports that are allowed. If you're attempting to bypass the windows firewall on a system that does not belong to you, I can't help you.

Go into the Control panel and adjust the settings to what you need.
