Go to the ER. They have to give you basic treatment. This is what passes for a national healthcare policy in the U.S. You really need to do this.

If its just a sprain you would think that it would have healed by now. I would try some sports cream on it and try to stay off of it for a few days. Or maybe one of those ace bandages might help to. Hope you get better soon.

i know you do no longer want to pay attention this...yet my chum is this style of activities addict as of roughly 2 years in the past, and because she basically randomly all started flow united states of america working and cycling interior the woodland close to her abode, using 3 days each week (horses) music practices 3 days each week, (sundays she is going for extra runs and motorbike rides) without previous training in the previous that apart from infrequent runs outdoors her as quickly as each week using training and school music practices (she is this style of enthusiast...i do no longer see how she does it yet...) she sprains her ankle(s) a minimum of as quickly as a month. SPRAINS by no skill HEAL thoroughly. her mom is a nurse and constantly reminds her of that, she wears a tensor/ace bandage, and an ankle brace, on each ankle whether its sprained or no longer (heavier ones for while theyre unquestionably sprained) by way of fact she became so reckless (and he or she's maximum appropriate right here as I style this lol, yet she's busy ranting approximately how her horseshow became cancelled by way of fact of rain lol) she ended up rigidity fracturing an already sprained ankle taking part in volleyball, (and he or she sprained it in the time of baseball). the only factor she would be ready to do now's experience. No distance working or sprinting, no cycling, basically using, by way of fact that's the only factor that would not harm it. she would be ready to no longer be thoroughly healed until eventually the top of September, and has to spend her money that usually is going to horse stuff, on physio. this is conserving her decrease back from the 800 m provincials. the top result sucks...it is going to heal much less in case you play...and regardless of the certainty that she nevertheless excercised, nevertheless rode, nevertheless went to hint meets and horseshows, she regrets it, by way of fact the everlasting soreness and soreness from braces and tensors holds her decrease back. (she additionally has Osgood-Shlatters ailment and has to positioned on 2 kneee braces on each knee at an analogous time as working and cycling) flow forward and play, basically be rather careful approximately whether or no longer you have earlier sprained it. notice from chum: "i might want to declare that Jamie's being dramatic...which perchance the wording makes it appear like that, yet sure i'm very harm vendors... yet no soreness as long as i'm donning the braces...yet she's maximum appropriate, sprains by no skill heal. I roll over on my ankle, it hurts for hours or days, if I holiday, same factor. be careful..."

I'd at least try to find a free clinic that offered X-rays just to make sure it's not broken. Other than that, I'd keep it wrapped, elevated, alternate ice and heat, and use ibuprofen for the pain.
