Necromancer character create?

is there an easy way to make a powerful necromancer type character without becomeing dependant on destruction magic or armor and weapons?

It depends on what game you are playing. D2 has a necro char, the easiest way to make a powerful char is to put your char pts into energy and stamina, use low-strength, char specific gear, and team up with another player that will complement yours. A trapsin or paladin will do pretty well, as will a well built sorceress.

i once made a summoning necromancer that made it to hell level. Level 81 14 skelys 6 mages a fire golem and maxxxed out mastery.
