Hi my chihuahua is 64 days pregnant now and showing no signs of labor. She is eating and drinking normally. She is very big and when i took her to the vet this last time he said she would be fine having labor and all. Just told me to watch her cose My question is how much longer does she have to cdarry her pups before labor begins? Her vet is out of town and the line there is busy so i caouldnt ask them ! Thanks

hi all my chi gave birth to 5 pups this morning and everything went smoothly i had the vet on the phone while she was giving birth and she instructed me on what to do and all 3 boys and 2 girls adorable little babies !! Gestation for a dog is typically 63 days plus or minus a few. So I would expect her to go into labor anytime. Keep a look out for her!

She will deliver any time now. Make sure she has a warm dry bed to have them in (we use a big box but for a chihuahua it doesnt have to be too big) big enough for her to stretch out in and big enough for her to turn around easily in it. During delivery the animal may stand and turn around trying to get the baby out.Make sure she has plenty of clean water during delivery and food after.

Your dog is going to give birth very soon, each and every dog is differnt, and any day now it will give birth. Also, when your dog gives birth, are you going to sell any? i would be interested.
