Take four sheets of A4. Use WORD to design a cheque. Duplicate the cheque three times on each sheet, and print.
Write on the "Pay" line of eight anything that you could do for him personally; from washing his car, to, Full skin to skin body massage with "Extras". Anything that is a bit out of the ordinary and that you know he would appreciate. The remaining four are left blank for him to fill in anything he would like, (within reason, of course)
On the date line of the four blank cheques write a specific date for a different month, some mid-week, and some week-ends. The remaining eight are left blank for him to choose when to use them, (make sure he understands that your bank has a two day cheque clearing time).
Slip into an envelope an put them in the post, maybe to his work address if possible.
No cost, guaranteed smile, and loads of fun too.

How about buying him a watch? It doesn't have to be too expensive, depending on your budget, but men like wearing watches. Stylish.
Later in the evening take him out for a meal ... but make sure you book it for two first, preferably in romantic surroundings.

Magazine subscriptions of his interest. Cologne. A nice new shirt. Take him to dinner and suprise him with a sexy something you're wearing underneath your clothes and tell him that's his present (and dessert). Gift card to his favorite store.

nope so I think you should go and buy yourself something.If while you are out buying all those lovely shoes and handbags oh and make up, you start to feel guilty buy him a tie. Then rush to the most beautiful boutique and shop till you drop.
