You have a snake. Despite the fact that it may be captive bred, it's still a snake, and not a domesticated animal. If you keep snakes for any amount of time, you -will- be bitten. I'm hoping your joking about the *itch-slapping, otherwise, you may never be able to handle it again without it trying to bite you.
The best thing to do when a snake bites is as follows:
1. Don't panic, if you snatch your hand away from the snake, you have a good chance of breaking teeth off in your skin, injuring the snake, and causing worse injuries to yourself. Stay still, the snake will (most likely) let go in a few seconds.
2. If the snake -DOESN'T- let go in a few seconds, find a plastic spoon or some other smooth implement to slide between the snakes jaws and your skin. SLOWLY! Forcing this can cause major damage to your snake.
3. Now that your snake is dislodged from your person, wash the wound with antibacterial soap, and treat with hydrogen peroxide if you so desire. If all goes well, no infection will happen.
4. If you have teeth imbedded in your skin, use tweezers to remove them, again, make sure the wound is clean.
After a few bites, you will come to realize that they aren't necessarily painful, just startling.
***********IMPORTANT**********
If you are bitten by a venomous snake, after you have completed steps 1 and 2, get your butt to your local hospital for medical attention.

there's a story of an old woman who rescued a dying snake. Short version. After some time she bends down and the snake bites her.
She says, "Why did you bite me after all i've done for you?"
Snakes says "look bitc* you knew I was a snake."
moral of the story: don't expect a snake to do any different. If you must keep it
becareful, don't blame the snake for being a snake and don't abuse it because you don't know how to take care of it.
A snake lacks any ability for real learning, he may become more comfortable with you or people in general depending how you treat it (ie does it learn to love or hate you) but you cannot train it.

Are you feeding him in his cage?
Then you are asking to get bit because he is associating you with food.
Are you harassing the snake?
Then you deserve to be bite!
What kind is he?
Some take allot of abuse or neglect before the will try to bite.
Maybe you should treat it with some respect instead of looking for some way to hurt it more.

depends on what type of snake too, some are known to be very docile and willing to handled gently others are known to be aggressive and dont usually change. also snakes are not a "teachable" animal as one of the previous answers states i have always fed my snakes in their cage and have only been bitten when i forgot to wash my hands after handling a rat or if i was a dumba** and startled the snake.

I think it would be best if you rehomed your snake where someone with a little more sense can take care of it.
