Believe it or not Moby Dick is the only book I've ever had a hard time reading, it is dull by my standards I have yet to finish it.
My favorites would take all day to list but I can read and re-read Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series OVER and OVER....

The worst book i read was The Pilot's Wife. It was really good through out the entire book, then near the end in just started getting sucky, but since I had gotten that far, I thought I might as well finish it. It had a really dumb ending, something which would NEVER happen in the real world.
The best book I ever read has to be The Five People You Meet in Heaven. Although it's very slow paced, I just love the concept of everyone having a purpose in life, it really makes you think.

The worst book I've ever read is So you want to be a Wizard. If you like scifi you'd probably love it, but it just creeped me out. I finished it, but only because I didn't have anything else to read at the time.

The worst book I've read was "Narcissus and Goldmund". I have yet to finish it. The best was "Me Talk Pretty One Day" by David Sedaris.

"The World at Her Fingertips" it was a bio about Helen Keller and i fished it because it was for this thing where if you read so many books you get a coupon for free ice cream and i had to read a bio of the list they gave. very boring and poorly written.
My favorite book (besides the Bible or lotr) Would be Running Out of Time.

I'll upset a lot of people, but "The Grapes of Wrath". I had to read it during high school, so I gave up on reading and only read enough to pass.
The best book I've read would probibly be "The Last of the Mohicans."

'The Wizard of Earthsea' Maybe it's just because I tried when I was 10, but I recall it being one of the most fantastically terrible pieces of literature I have ever laid hands on. Honestly, there was about two lines of dialogue every 20 pages.
It was ridiculous.
