Sounds like a lot of damage although the escorts were a dependable car.I would stay away from this one could be some hidden damage. They were bad for the rear shock towers rusting out from the inside just me opinion Just want to add that 125000 miles is nothing i have seen some with over 250000 and still running like a top all comes down to proper maintenance

No, This guy will probably take less. Don't go after a fixer upper, this car is probably good if you need transportation. Things like good tires good brakes and a current tag can be costly if it has these things and you just have to have a car right know buy it. I'm assuming the heater and air work. Before the accident do you think it would have been a 10 on a 1-10 scale. If so it's a good bet. Don't fix it though. Price a windshield and a mirror. Get the mirror from salvage and the windshield from a wind shield company, their prices vary so call at least 3. LOOK IT OVER GOOD. Maybe offer 900.00 remember the market for dented up cars isn't very big. Your probably the only person thats called.

I am not really a ford fan either due to previous experience with Fords if its not the electrical work soon or later you will be paying more for a new transmission. and with 125000 miles engine will need to be serviced soon. After all that tragedy who knows what will happen down the road.
