Simon is usually dead on. Paula is on something and Randy is a moron.

Simon and Randy USUALLY are. Simon was def. right about Hicks. If he didn't have grey hair, he wouldn't have won. And Paula is way to nice. And old.

sadly...Simon is usually right. Randy is too busy worrying about his "dawg poud" and Paula loves everyone. Simon looks past your pretty dress/shoes or the fact that "you can blow" and sees that while you may have hit that last note perfect, the rest of the song sucked.

Yes, I believe they are pretty right on. Randy seems to have become a little hardened this season, seems to be a little more vocal and more like Simon in his critique.

No, they are not. They are just there to offer there opinions. Simon didn't want Last year's guy to win and he ended up winning last season. So no Simon is not always right.

For the most part, although Simon initially passed on Kelly Clarkson and didn't like Taylor Hicks even when he won

SImon is usally right, exc. in the case of Jennifer Hudson.
Randy is also usually right.
Paula is a softy - she is very encouraging to everyone but you can tell when she really likes someone. She gets up, dances, applauds and really sings their praises.

These guys are pretty much right on in terms of their critiques-- they are experts in showbiz after all. I think as obnoxious as Simon is he's usually almost always right. Some of these people aren't going anywhere and SOMEONE needs to give them reality checks.

The judges usually are, the people voting are WAY wrong though. For example - Clay Aiken, Chris Daughtry, Katherine McPhee, Jennifer Hudson....... Simon has said in interviews that America can't recognize musical potential....I agree.
( Note: I detest Clay Aiken, You can't deny his sucess though)
